We were born more than 50 years ago to offer our customers and consumers unique experiences and solutions for an increasingly practical and very tasty life.

Our high quality and added value foods are present at different times, whether with families, friends or during the snack between one meeting and another. There are more than 900 products, which reach the table of millions of consumers in Brazil, through a logistics system of excellence, and from more than 20 countries such as: Canada, Russia, Japan, Hong Kong, Argentina, South Africa, among others. many others.

With great pride, we are among the ten largest companies in the poultry, pork, pasta and vegetable processing sector. Today, we have more than 14 industrial units, present in the states of Minas Gerais, Goiás, Espírito Santo and Santa Catarina, and 16 Distribution Centers and Transshipment Points spread across 8 states in Brazil, totaling around 170,000 deliveries per month.

We are a team of almost ten thousand employees who work together and work with excellence to deliver the best to our customers and consumers, every day. Evolution, innovation and sustainability are part of our essence and we are proud to be growing more and more.

With an eye on the world, we are part of the UN Global Compact and seek to contribute to the development of the communities where we are present, through the generation of jobs and income, and the work of the Mendes Costa Foundation, a non-profit institution that develops social, educational and cultural projects.

 

Our story

 

1968
Mr. Avelino Costa, a Portuguese naturalized Brazilian, buys the Pif Paf slaughterhouse in Rio de Janeiro.

 

1972
Pif Paf grew, evolved and, therefore, was transferred to Visconde do Rio Branco, in the Zona da Mata Mineira, where it also opened its first Feed Factory, as well as its first hatchery in Pará de Minas.

 

1975
Pif Paf pioneered the marketing of meat to the Middle East. Cool huh? In the early 1980s, 95% of Pif Paf’s production was destined for export.

 

1983
The company’s growth continued, with the acquisition of a hatchery and two parent farms in Pará de Minas (MG).

 

1986
Expansion of the Pif Paf product mix with the opening of the Industrialized Factory in Viçosa (MG).

 

1999
Another slaughterhouse, this time for pork, opened in Patrocínio (MG).

 

2005
The Tial company was incorporated into the Pif Paf holding.

 

2007
Leopoldina (MG) was the birthplace for another step towards the expansion of the Pif Paf product mix, with the inauguration of the unit to manufacture frozen ready-to-eat pasta such as pizza, cheese bread, lasagna, among many other delights.

 

2008
Pif Paf arrived in Goiás! Inauguration of the Hatchery and Matrix in Paraúna (GO).

 

2011
Hello, Goiás! Inauguration of the poultry slaughterhouse at the Goiás Agroindustrial Complex.

 

2011
Pif Paf innovates once again and launches its fish brand: Pescanobre.

 

2016
The company enters the party market with Ladelli ready-to-consume products.

 

2019
Acquisition of the swine company Fricasa, located in Canoinhas (SC).

 

2021
Acquisition of the Uniaves chicken slaughterhouse, in Castelo (ES).
